ALL Erection & Crane Rental Corp. announced the addition of a new branch in Wilmington, NC, and the expansion of its existing facility in West Elizabeth, PA.
ALL Carolina Crane Rental of Wilmington LLC, located in Rocky Point, NC, is the latest member of the ALL Family of Companies, having begun operations effective Dec. 3, 2007. Trico adds ReachMaster to lineup
Trico Lift recently added the Falcon ReachMaster to its selection of fleet rentals. These aerial platforms lift a worker 95 feet high and are capable of passing through a door opening measuring as small as 2 feet 6 inches by 6 feet 6 inches.
“In an industry dominated by traditional boom lifts, the ReachMaster sets a new standard for compact, flexible and light aerial work platform design,” said Ken Pustizzi, Trico Lift president and CEO. “The reach of 95 feet has already proven helpful to contractors and maintenance crews needing considerable work height combined with limited or narrow access particularly in facilities with finished overhead construction.”
ANSI partners with ICC to electronically deliver I-Codes in Spanish
The International Code Council (ICC) has partnered with the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) to distribute the recently released Spanish versions of the 2006 International Codes in electronic format. These codes include the International Building, Fire, Residential, Energy Conservation, Plumbing, Mechanical, Fuel Gas and Property Maintenance Codes. The popularity of the International Codes globally has provided the impetus for the Code Council to pursue development of these codes in multiple languages. In addition to interest outside the U.S., ICC has also experienced an increase in demand for the codes in Spanish from the Spanish-speaking community within the U.S.
“The Code Council is committed to partnering with others to provide the most current building safety solutions in as many different formats and languages as possible in order to serve the global community,” said Mark Johnson, International Code Council Business and Product Development senior vice president. “The Code Council is pleased to partner with ANSI to make it easier for building professionals to have access to the Spanish Codes through the Institute’s state of the art electronic delivery system.” |
